There is danger everywhere for the Wildebeest and Zebras crossing the river. There are crocodiles in the river and other predators waiting elsewhere. Unbeknownst to us, there was a lioness hiding in the tall grass waiting for the right moment to attack. It happened so fast I didn’t see it right away but in front of us a lioness attacked one of the wildebeest. After a few minutes we moved our vehicle a little closer. This lioness actually killed at least 2, maybe 3 wildebeest while we were there.
