Great Horned Owl

When I saw the owlets a few days ago, I checked all of the nearby trees to see if I could see mom and/or dad. Generally, the parents stay fairly close to where the young owls are. But I didn’t see either of them. But as I was about to leave, I took another glance up to where the owlets had been and there, on the side of the rocks, was one of the parents. He/she was sleeping and after a bit opened its eyes to look around and the promptly went back to sleep. He/she was very well camouflaged on the side of the cliffs.
