It has been several weeks since I have been able to go walking at the river due to the snow. Over the past few days it has warmed to normal temperatures and the snow has started to melt. Yesterday was a beautiful day to spend some time walking along the river. One of the first things I heard was the trilling of the red-winged blackbirds. To me, that it a sure sign of spring.
