The weather has cooled now and the nights are cold and its time for the little hummingbirds to travel south for the winter. While I’m accustomed to having 3-4 hummingbirds fighting over the feeders, now I’m lucky if I see on per day. So, safe travels little fellows and I look forward to seeing you again in the spring.

Maralee
Good bye! Terrific flight images, Maralee. Must be a real challenge to capture!
I just take a LOT of photos and hope that some turn out. 🙂
Wow!
Thank you.
Marvellous shots Maralee 😊
Thank you very much.
Very nice in-flight shots, Maralee! They are a delight to watch and you will miss them until next year.
Thank you, Ellen. I will miss them but always look forward to seeing the first hummingbird in the spring.
It’s good to have nature working on a more or less dependable schedule!
Fantastic!!
Thank you.
two Anna’s have arrived for the winter!
I’ve had an Anna’s here the last couple of winters but haven’t seen one yet.
