I have been seeing the heron almost every day on the river for the past two weeks. The amount of water in the river has gone down considerable and there are a lot more rocks for the heron to stand on and wait for a fish to go by. These were taken yesterday when the sun was very bright so the lighting was not optimal. It still hasn’t caught any fish while I’ve been watching but I am a patient and persistent person. One of these days . . .
