This osprey flew over me while walking along the river yesterday. A red-winged blackbird was following and harassing it along the way. What was it thinking? The blackbird eventually flew off.

A lot of times what initially draws my attention to a bird of prey is seeing one bird in the distance being harassed in the air by 1-3 smaller birds. Though it’s usually crows around here.
