  1. In spring the birds are busy pairing off and building nests. In summer they are busy rearing young. In the fall they’re all footloose and fancy free, and tend to form into small feeding flocks. Here in Seattle you can see groups made up of bushtits, sparrows, chickadees, and juncos flitting from bush to tree together.
