This is one of the hummingbirds that hangs out at my feeder outside my window at work. It’s getting less skittish and will stay there while I photograph it. But the feeder is in a shaded area of the building and it’s hard to get a clear photograph without setting my ISO to a high enough number to get a fast enough shutter speed. That results in a lot of noise.

Your photos are gorgeous and the “little” hummingbird looks so big but of course they are so surprisingly small. Had the pleasure of seeing a few on our recent holiday to San Fran.
I love watching these tiny guys. They are so entertaining and very, very fast. I will miss them when they leave for the winter in a couple of months.
