Autumn is definitely on its way. The tree in front of my window has been changing color for a few weeks now. It won’t be long before the trees are bare.
We don’t have any signs of autumn’s approach here in Maryland yet. But I am definitely looking forward to it. Autumn is my favorite season of the year.
Lol I am not a fan of winter that much anymore. Last winter cured me of that particular disease. We had far too many days where the high was only like 11 degrees! One of the coldest winters in Maryland in 30+ years so I completely understand how you feel.
I swear the leaves on the trees at work were green when I passed by them this morning. By the time I came out at 5pm, there were yellow leaves on most of the trees. And they are starting to fall in our backyard, as well.
I agree. I haven’t seen a hummingbird at our feeder for over a week now. I guess they’re on their way to you. This is much earlier than last year. Last year we had hummingbirds into mid-October. I hope that isn’t a sign of a really bad winter.
Your lucky it seems you’re to have an Autumn… we went from winter to summer… spring was forgotten
I’m hoping it will be a long autumn. I’m not looking forward to winter and the cold.
I loved what you did, fascinated me. Thank you, love, nia
Thank you, Nia.

It’s mine too. I hope it’s a looooooong on because winter is my least favorite season. I used to love winter until I got old.

I know. They seem to have changed overnight.
Too fast–where’s summer!

We have had some new Costas and Rufous hummers. Thanks. 🙂
