Beautiful photo. I guess we missed new snow on the mountains by a couple of weeks. I really loved the Cascades, they are beautiful.
Thanks. We just got the snow this past week. We had a cold wet front come through that left the mountains covered with snow.
Me too, especially at high altitudes, but I’m getting used to breathing up high.

Nice shot, and I’ve not had a chance to see if Pikes Peak is covered (it should be) because clouds ruled the sky this morning when we were out.
Ours were covered in clouds for several days but once they cleared, it was covered with snow. I’m glad you’re taking care of the last straggling hummingbirds. You probably saved its life.

For some reason I look at this photo and think about how refreshing the air must be where you live. Not too much suburban development chucking up the area etc, Beautiful photo of a beautiful place.
We do have very clean air here (except when it gets very windy and dusty). We don’t have any big industry spewing stuff into the air. In the winter we’ll get some wood burning as a lot of people have wood burning stoves.
