It was another gorgeous morning as I drove to work yesterday so I made a short side trip to the park.
The sun hadn’t quite risen so there was a beautiful alpenglow on the mountains.
If you look closely at the photo below, you will see some blurred spots to the left just below the bridge. These were four geese who flew through the photo as I was shooting. But because I had such a slow shutter speed due to lack of light, they are just ghost geese.
These are brilliant captures… is it a big detour that you make on your way to work?? If not I’d travel that way everyday…
It’s really not far out of the way – only about 2 miles. But you don’t see this from the road – you have to park and walk into the park. Not that hard to do.
That would be my daily ritual… it is so beautiful… you could take a pic daily and make a timeline out of it…
I was just thinking about that today – do a four seasons photo of that spot. It would be easy to do. The leaves are changing color now so it won’t belong before I’ll be doing a fall photo.
I might even be reconciled to working with a view like that on the way in. Lovely shots.
