While I was in my backyard yesterday, I noticed one of my neighbor’s petunias growing through a knot hole inside our fence. When I looked through another knot hole, I could see a garden of petunias inside the hole.

Very neat. My grandmother always had petunias growing. One year we picked some and entered them in the C.C. Fair. I don’t remember winning any prizes, though.

Lovely compositions… the graininess of the wood makes a pleasing frame and nice contrast for highlighting the flowers.
Wonderful … how have you manage to get that deep blue .. blue flowers always comes out so pale in photos or close to purple. Amazing colors, Maralee.
