I ask because the seed stems seem fairly large, and the distribution of seeds in dandelions are denser, to my recollection (we don’t have them here yet). These are more what I’m used to for the Salsify plant. Then again, I don’t know the scale, so I’m just asking to clarify.
Either way, nice shots of one of my favorite subjects.
That last photo …. so delicate and soft … fragile and the you have got it all … it could have been gone in one breeze. That last photo ..
Thanks, Viveka
Beautiful patterns!
Thank you, Cee.
Three posts in one day! Hard to keep up with you! Great shots!
Trying to get caught up after being away for 5 days. 🙂
These are fantastic!
Thank you, Tricia.
Ah, beautiful. I have been wanting to photograph dandelions, but hubby keeps killing them all!
Thank you, Lilly. We have plenty to spare, here.
So pretty, I love these!
Thank you, very much.
Dandelion, or Salsify (much larger seed ball, taller plant, bigger flower).

These could be Salsify. I took these last summer. We have a LOT of dandelions right now and many of them have gone to seed.
Perfect I love this.
Thank you, Edith.
Love it. Better than the typical shots you always see of dandelions.
Thanks, David. The seeds are prettier than the flower.
I love your interpretation of this theme. Beautiful images.
Thank you, Pat.
Another amazing collection of beautiful macro images. You’re inspiring me to really practice some macro this next week.
Thank you, Bella. I enjoy doing macro. We just have so much wind here that sometimes it’s difficult to get everything to sit still. 🙂
nice shots
Thank you, Amar.
