This time of year my thoughts turn to spring and everything turning green.
We don’t have much green yet, but the trees are starting to bud and the grass is slowing changing from brown to green.
Thanks, Rob. The first photo was taken at the Japanese Gardens in Portland. The garden is the most beautiful garden I have ever been to. I could spend days there. It is just so peaceful and calming.
Thanks, Bella. The first one is from the Japanese Gardens in Portland, Oregon. I’ve never been to Acadia, but would like to visit there some day. I’ve seen beautiful photos from that area.
You take beautiful pictures and posting them without your signature. Aren’t you scared that someone might just take them? I am tempted to “share” all of them. Just kidding. They are all lovely pictures.
Thank you so much. I’ve recently started signing the photos but some of the older ones don’t have my signature. The photos are pretty low res so it would be hard for someone to print from them. It’s always a risk putting photos on line but most people don’t take without asking first. And if they ask, I let them share. 🙂
Wow! Very nice.
Thank you very much.
Green my favorite color …. wonderful gallery, Maralee … as always. The mayfly has stolen my heart and senses.
Thank you, Viveka. We call them dragonflies here. Most of them are black but I’ve seen red and blues ones too.
They are so beautiful .. and fragile – and short lived … all that beauty for 1 day only. Amazing.
Such lovely captures of green .. but the top photo beautiful.. it almost looks too good to be real…

The first photo is gorgeous 🙂
Thank you, David.
They’re all very good, but the first is excellent!
Thank you. The first one was taken on my first visit to the Japanese Gardens in Portland. I will definitely go back – it is so beautiful there.
Wow ! You have more green than we have 😉
Some of these were taken during the past year. We don’t have much green here yet. But it’s coming.
I’m stunned!
Thank you so much. I appreciate you checking out my blog.
your good
Thank you, Scott.
I enjoyed the frond most in a very charming set of pictures.
Thank you.
Oh such wonderful green captures Maralee. Is the first one from Acadia/Mount Desert Island?
