Every year when I turn the calendar over to March, I start getting spring fever. Even though we’ve had a very mild winter here, I’m ready to start seeing the flowers bloom and color emerge.
Until then, I will have to settle for cut flowers in a vase.
These tulips sitting in our office brighten the day a little. There are several different tulips and I took a lot of photos so I will be stretching the photos out for a couple of days.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Maralee

Beautiful Maralee. The composition of the 3rd photograph is outstanding!
Thank you so much, Marcus.
and a great weekend for you too… in a way I hate the idea of heading towards Autumn and Winter, but then I think of the impending photos of all of you up North waiting for the blooms to post… and I get quite excited…
I always enjoy the change of seasons. And when it’s time for one of them to be over, I’m ready for the next one. 🙂
#3 is my favorite, as well. Such a beautiful glow to all of them.
Thank you, Carissa.
Very nice, I’m looking forward to more, almost as much as I’m looking forward to spring!
Thank you so much. Every spring I look forward to the green popping out of the ground. It’s like a re-birth.
Beautiful shots – composition is so nice. Keep them coming!
Thank you, Pat.
STUNNING!
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thank you, Francine.
Maralee, this is me back in the race after a good break. It felt good to not have to think about the blog. Lovely shots, a touch of hope .. a touch of springtime. The last shot is my pick !!!
Have a great weekend you, two.
Good to have you back. I’m a bit behind on my responses to blogs. It’s been a hectic couple of weeks.
So beautiful! Tulips are my absolute favourite flower! I love the soft colours to these images.
There are so many beautiful varieties of tulips. There’s a tulip festival in Oregon on April-May that I’m going to try and get to. It’s a several hour drive away, but hopefully I’ll have time to go.
I love the third photo too!
Thank you very much.
These are wonderful Maralee. Did you change the background before taking the photo, or in post processing? I’m just learning how to do that in post and not very good at it yet. 🙂
On these I changed the background. I just used some old sheets that I had dyed different colors.
