Tulips . . . I

Maralee_Park_130305_43582-EditEvery year when I turn the calendar over to March, I start getting spring fever.  Even though we’ve had a very mild winter here, I’m ready to start seeing the flowers bloom and color emerge.  Maralee_Park_130305_43610-EditUntil then, I will have to settle for cut flowers in a vase.

Maralee_Park_130305_43589-EditThese tulips sitting in our office brighten the day a little.  There are several different tulips and I took a lot of photos so I will be stretching the photos out for a couple of days.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Maralee

  1. and a great weekend for you too… in a way I hate the idea of heading towards Autumn and Winter, but then I think of the impending photos of all of you up North waiting for the blooms to post… and I get quite excited…

  2. Maralee, this is me back in the race after a good break. It felt good to not have to think about the blog. Lovely shots, a touch of hope .. a touch of springtime. The last shot is my pick !!!
Have a great weekend you, two.

    1. There are so many beautiful varieties of tulips. There’s a tulip festival in Oregon on April-May that I’m going to try and get to. It’s a several hour drive away, but hopefully I’ll have time to go.
