I have been thinking for a while (but do not believe I ever told you) that you really are in your element when you have flowers as a subject–your images are really fantastic.
Thanks for saying that. When I started my 365 project last year, I didn’t really have an interest in flowers. But through the course of the year, it became one of my favorite subjects. Now I can’t wait for spring and for the flowers to bloom.

Thank you, Shez. What kind of orchid is it? I have several orchids at home but they’re all the same. I didn’t know what the name of this orchid was.
I think it’s a green and purple one. 🙂 I wish I was an orchid expert, but all I know about them is they are beautiful. The blooms can look very similar and be from completely different types. The type of leaf is very helpful for identification.
