This weekend was the annual Fall Festival here in Bend. It was a very busy weekend for me and I didn’t have much time to spend there, but I wanted to go and take a look.
There was a lot going on . . . art, music, food and a lot of fun things for the kids.
Local Hawaiian musician, Bill Keale, happened to be performing while I was there. I always get a little homesick for Hawaii when I hear Hawaiian music.
These are just a few snapshots from the festival. Maybe next year I’ll have a little more time to spend there.

Your photos show us the fun abd beauty of the festival. Thanks for sharing.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thanks, Francine. It was a beautiful day to be outdoors.
Looks like it could be a fun filled festival…
Thanks, Rob. I wish I’d had more time to spend there.
This seems like a fun festival, and those toffee apples look absolutely delicious! 🙂
I was tempted to buy one of the apples but I resisted.
Great photos, Maralee. I wonder if you and I the only ones who know how to pronounce Keale?
🙂
We probably are. Do you remember Moe Keale? Bill is his nephew. I get teary-eyed when I listed to his music.
No, I don’t. No matter. I hear Hawaiian music and the homesickness kicks in immediately. Doesn’t really matter who it is. I hear ukulele and slack-key and I’m a goner.
