I didn’t have a lot of time to take photos today so I took these as I was leaving my office. The backlight on the feathery grass (or whatever it is) caught my eye. The photo didn’t turn out quite how I wanted. It looked so soft and glowing in person but didn’t translate that well in the photo.
The other photos are the last of a couple of flowers that are still blooming. Most of the rest have already passed on.

That kind of grass always looks better to my eyes than to the camera . . . I think it does it on purpose.
I think you’re right. It’s just teasing us.
I have tried to capture a similar grass on camera…. that glow just doesn’t come through to the picture….
If there had been a field of them, maybe some movement or blur would have been better, but just having a couple of stalks just didn’t do it for me. 🙂
Boy, do I know what you mean about the photo not looking the way I saw it. We still have a flower or two blooming here as well. I’ll probably post those today or tomorrow. You’re amazing that you can continue to put out beautiful photos from basically nothing. I enjoy seeing them.
Thanks, Christine. It’s getting harder every day. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into on this daily challenge. But I’m down to 89 days to go. Can’t give up now. 🙂
I really know what you mean. I am starting to feel like I did when I was close to getting my degree. The urge to run in the last semester was incredible. But I made it through. And we’ll make it through this. I’m already starting to think about how I’ll handle next year, but first I’ve got to get to December 31st.
I actually like the first photo a lot, but I completely understand your frustration.
