I came across these flowers in someone else’s garden and had to photograph them. The lighting was mid-day so it was quite harsh. The only way I could get the sunflower was with the lighting in the back.

The other’s I tried to get close and avoid too much glare and shadow.

Beautiful flowers.
Thank you, Judy.
Wow that third flower is something special… how beautiful… mother nature has such a beautiful way with design and colour… and Maralee you have such a beautiful way of capturing it for us… THANK YOU wonderful photos…
Thank you, Rob. It truly is amazing how beautiful mother nature is. We just need to slow down long enough to stop and smell the roses . . . literally.
Lovely images, Maralee. 🙂
Thank you, Mike.
Bellísimas fotografías, me encantan las tomas de flores, te han quedado preciosas, besos
Grazie.
Wonderful … breathtaking – you’re really getting under the flowers “skin” – petals. Hard for me to make a pick today – still because red is my favorite color .. I go for the last one – it’s so intense. It’s truly stunning photo.
Thank you, Viveka. I am amazed every day at the beauty in this world.
I agree … and with a camera in our hands it becomes even more beautiful. We see things others don’t notice.
Yes. I think when we have a camera in our hands, we pay more attention to everything around us.
Yes, that is what it’s … the small and funny bits …
Gorgeous…that last picture looks like a painting! 🙂
Thanks, Zelmare. The last one if my favorite. I loved the center of it.
