As many of you who have been following my blog know, the calla lily is one of my favorite flowers. To me, they are a beautiful, elegant flower and I never tire of them.
So you can imagine my delight yesterday when my friend, and co-worker, Laura, brought me a pot of beautiful purple calla lilies. I couldn’t wait to get home to re-pot them and put them on my front deck.
First thing this morning, I got up to take photos of them. I’m sure you will be seeing more of them in the future.

Purple is one of my favorite colors. Combine that with yellow and it can’t be beat – in my opinion.

One of my favorite flowers and today they come in so many shades .. at the market on Granville Island they had them in at least 10 different shades. My favorite is the last of the bunch.
