Today was the opening of the Farmer’s Market.  The market runs every Wednesday from June to September and it is always fun to pick up some fresh spring fruits and vegetables.

It’s a little early in the season so the selection isn’t as great as it will be in a few weeks.  But they had some beautiful Oregon strawberries (the best!!!) and other colorful vegetables.

As the summer goes on, the market will get bigger and better.  I can’t wait.

  1. Nice subject. Very colorful. I was wondering where on the coast that you went. I went to Gold Beach my first time in Oregon in 1995. I liked Oregon so well that I returned the next year – going as far as Coos Bay that time. It was a quick trip – a 4 day weekend.

    1. Thanks, Judy. I think the entire Oregon Coast is beautiful. We had been to the central coast before (Florence and Newport) so this time we wanted to check out the southern coast. Now we just have to go to the northern coast.

  2. Beautifully photographed. I love the farmer’s market. We have a lot around here and I make sure I visit each because they are usually on different days depending on the community they are in.

    BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!

    1. I wish we had more farmer’s markets around here. We have this on on Wednesday afternoons and there is a small one on Friday, but they don’t have much of a selection at that one. So I guess I’ll just enjoy the Wednesday markets.
