I had to go by a local park today for work and took a few minutes to stop and take a few photos.

I hadn’t been there since last fall and I wanted to see what was growing. They have a community garden area but it’s a little too early to be planting vegetables.
There is a barn in the park that looks fairly old, but I don’t know how old it actually is.

But I liked some of the old wood and hinges.
There were some flowers blooming, and it looked like more are just starting out. I’ll have to go back and check on it in another month or so.

I love the soft focus on the flowers with the depth of field and the texture and color of the hinge is wonderful.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thank you so much.
What wonderful shots the hinge who would have thought that it would make such a study. Love the flower shots with a focal point fading to the blur, Wonderful.
Thank you. I love old building and I’m hoping to search for some around the area this summer. Someone who is familiar with the countryside gave me a map with notations of some old buildings.
Such gorgeous work! lovely images so delightfully captured and presented. Awesome article!
Thank you, Stan.
It’s the patterning found in the blade of grass for me; liking these macro shots … I’m wanting a good macro lens. Excellently well done! 🙂
Fantastic shots , Maralee. Simple objects like blade of grass and hinge look great !
Congrats ! Keep posting !

Thank you. I appreciate your wonderful comments.
Have to say it again – you’re good .. with your camera and your eyes. My favorite must be the hinge – you know me – I love texture in photos. Love the veins in the wood – so deep and clear. Had planed to go out and take pictures today here in Landskrona, but it’s “pissing down” outside .. so an other day.
Thanks, Viveka. In your works, it’s “pissing down” here today. So unless it lets up, I’ll be doing indoor photos today. 🙂
Love the colors. There is nothing like beautiful spring days. Thank you for sharing it.
Really love the softness in your photos… lovely!
Yes… hinge and grass. Simple, elegant.
As always, great photographs. You have quite the eye. The hinge photo made me go “Oooh!” out loud.
love the shot of the door hinge and blade of grass.
Thanks so much. I appreciate.
I love the wheat and barn door colours. They are striking, and yet softly weathered. xo
