Weathered: Old Homestead This is a photo I took a few years ago of an old homestead outside of Madras, Oregon. We would pass by it whenever we were driving to Portland. Sadly, the building is no longer there. It collapsed sometime in the last year.
Finally!!! MyFavoriteHeron went fishing. Granted, the conditions for photographing it weren't the greatest. I keep hoping "my favorite heron" will catch a fish. Numerous times it has appeared that it was going to catch something but so far it hasn't. I will persevere though and maybe one day it will.
