This lioness killed a zebra one morning and then went off to sleep a short distance away. I didn’t witness the killing myself, but others in our group did. This was in the same area where we saw the leopard sleeping in the tree. We returned later in the afternoon and waited to see if the lioness would return to her kill. Once she started yawning, we figured it wouldn’t be long before she went over to the zebra. And she did.
