Bee-eaters capture  many different flying insects – not only bees. They are especially attracted insects drawn to flowering plants. The Cinnamon-chested Bee-eater is found in highland areas of western Kenya in sunny open areas with trees and shrubs.. They are extremely fast and will most likely return to the same branch after leaving to catch a bee or other insect.
