The great horned owl was again watching over it’s owlets. They weren’t near him/her but I am confident mom/dad knew exactly where they were.
For a little perspective, this was taken with a 200mm lens. The owl blends in quite well with the cliffs and is not easily spotted.
This was taken right after the owl was preening and cleaning its feathers and is still a little “fluffed” up.
