This little sparrow came out of the bushes with a nice, juicy caterpillar. These photos are quite grainy as it was in the shadow of some very large trees and I had to increase my ISO to get the shots.

Lovely shots, Maralee! I take it those hairs on the caterpillar aren’t stingy? Caterpillars here that come equipped with hairs are best avoided if you don’t want a terribly stingy burn!
These don’t sting. They’re actually quite soft
