The night we went out to Fort Rock to photograph the Milky Way at the old homestead, it was the start of the Perseid Meteor Showers. It was not the peak night but we saw a fair number of beautiful meteors flashing through the sky. I was hoping to get one in one of the photos and didn’t notice this one until I had gone through the photos. It wasn’t one of the brightest but it was there.

Yes, the windmill was light painted. It’s trial and error.
