Maybe I should say I’m getting back out there. The physical therapy seems to be helping my ankles so I did a test walk to the river yesterday. I haven’t seen my favorite heron in a couple of months and it was nice to see he was still around. I watched him from across the river so I wouldn’t upset him by trying to get too close. Hopefully I’ll be seeing more of him in the future.

It’s always nice going mobile. I wonder if the heron was concerned about your absence?
I think he missed me. He kept staring at me. . . until a fish got his attention.
