I didn’t have many birds at my feeders over the winter so I was thrilled to see the lesser goldfinches return this week. I expect to be seeing more of them as spring progresses.

How big is that bird? It looks very like our siskin.
They are about 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 inches. I only see them here in the spring and summer. They pretty little birds but don’t sit still and pose for photos very well.
That sounds like our siskins.
