Let me say straight off…I rather like the Canada Goose. But it is strange that here in the UK many of our so called ‘conservationists’ dislike them with a vengeance…..They are of course not a native specie of the UK but are resident all year (unlike many of the winter geese that visit from the north) and to my mind have been here long enough to establish ‘citizens rights’ . 🙂
I like the geese too. I think one of the reasons people don’t like them is that they leave a mess in the park and on sidewalks. Our Canada geese are here all year round and we have quite a large population of them.
