Dark-Eyed Junco – Day 26 – A Year of Wildlife

The dark-eyed junco is a common bird here in the winter. This year we haven’t had much of a winter and I haven’t seen too many of them around . . . until today when we had a little snow. Then they were everywhere. They generally feed on the ground but occasionally they will visit the feeder. I look forward to seeing these cute little birds every winter.Dark-Eyed Junco
