I thought this was a hooded merganser but it seems, in fact, it is a bufflehead. Someday I will know more about the birds around me. 🙂

I will never know all of the birds out there. I get so confused. 🙂
For sure, me too, I actually have a folder of images of birds I don’t know what species they are and hope someday someone sits with me and ID’s them for me. lol Add in juveniles and I really get confused! 🙂
