This spider, grasshopper, or whatever it is , that I presumed was dead, was caught in a web outside my house. I think it’s pretty creepy.

Surely a possibility. Whatever it is it looks pretty creepy.
I love all of your posts, Maralee, but this image is the stuff of nightmares. I can stand to see snakes, mice, and other creatures that go bump in the night, but spiders?? Nooooo!
