Ever since my last outing to do night photography of the stars, I’ve been wanting to go out again. I hadn’t planned on taking photographs of the stars last night but when my husband and I took a late night walk around the neighborhood, it was so clear and the stars were so bright, I had to go out. And lo and behold, we found a spot 2 blocks from our house where there was very little ambient light. The second photo does show a little of the ambient light from a building behind me but for the most part, it was dark enough for some night photos. I’m hooked.
These photos were taken at f3.5, 18mm focal length, ISO 1250, 30 seconds.
