I came across this bird on one of my walks this weekend. I thought it was a sparrow hawk. When I looked it up it identified it as an American Kestrel. Upon further reading, I found out they’re one and the same. It’s a fairly small bird – not much bigger than a scrub jay. I’m hoping one of my readers can confirm what bird this is.
