While in the midst of our epic snowstorm last weekend, these birds would swarm in, in a group of about 100 birds settle in the trees in our yard. Then a group would come and fight over the bird feeder. They would take off again just as quickly. This happened numerous times over the course of the day.
It reminded me a little of Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds.” Loved that movie.

Great in-flight shots Maralee.

Thank you, Ron.
Birds’ outstretched wings always look good against a snowy background. Nice pictures.
Thank you. The snow is all gone now . . . and these particular birds have disappeared.
Love it! great capture!
Thank you very much.

Thank you, Nia.
I love your flight captures…
Thank you, Rob.
Looks like they are having a party :-).
I think they were. They were so much fun to watch.
Great shots! Love the spread out wings that you’ve captured so well 🙂
Omigosh, I love that movie so much! It scared the patooty out of me when I was a kid.
When I saw the title of this post I thought you’d caught a bunch of crows lined up on a jungle gym. These are much nicer (and less terror-inducing!)
