Wow, again .. you have even manage to get the flying birds into that rise. Very powerful photos all of them. Rise is my favorite pick ..
There were several groups of geese that flew by – I wish they’d flown by a little closer, but that’s a lot to ask.
I have some photos with geeses too … forgotten to post them. Have to do some autumn summery gallery. Have so many photos to do something with and the whole summer too.

Thanks, Gunta. I wanted to get the moon when it was closer to the mountains, but the sun rose first and washed the moon out by the time it got that low.

The place where I went to take these photos has very little vehicle traffic so it is very quiet and peaceful. All you can hear is the moo-ing of the cows in the field next to it.
These are just amazing shots! I was just in awe of last week’s amazing moon and told my daughter that I wish I could take a photograph that captured the moon in a way that did it justice as we sat there gazing upon it. You’ve really done just that, especially in that second shot!
Thank you very much. I was so happy with how the moon rose Friday night. Often times it is too cloudy to see until it gets too high in the sky. This time the light cloud layer added to the moonrise.
