We stopped into this wonderful little shop downtown and I know this will be a place I visit often. Navidi’s Olive Oil and Vinegars is a fabulous little shop. They have dozens of flavored balsamic vinegars and olive oils, varying from sweet to savory. It was hard to choose which ones we wanted to take home to try out, so we ended up with a small variety package.
We came home with samples such as Red Apple Balsamic, Coconut White Balsamic, Persian Lime Olive Oil, and several others. I can’t wait to try them all. We poured some Sicilian Lemon Balsamic over roasted salmon . . . mmmm, mmmm, good.
It was also a great place to get photographs. I’ll be back.

Like a sweetie shop … wonderful. Like the sound of the coconut balsamic … *smile – My pick of this delicious bunch is the tap photo.
Thanks, Viveka. With the way you love to cook, you would fall in love with this shop. It’s fabulous.
I bet the owners would love some of your photographs!
Thanks, Carissa. I emailed them a link to the blog. We’ll see if they respond. Can you believe only 11 days left this year. Have you thought about your blog for next year. You can’t call yourself a neophyte any longer. 🙂
I’ve been thinking about what I want to do next year. It sure will be nice to not be under the pressure of trying to post something unique every single day. It was quite an effort, but not something I think I can do again. Or should I say that I want to do again – at least for the foreseeable future!
How about you?
You photos are so delicious they make me drool. Next time I’m in Bend that shop will be on my radar.
Carissa asked about next year and though it became a near impossible task and took posting two or three blogs a day to “catch up,” I know I will not do it next year. Next year I want to do a weekly type series because I love to take photos as a set. It was hard enough to do one a day ( not so much the photo part but the time to load to computer, crop, and save for web, upload etc), but I longed to follow a single plant from first bud all through the year to last leaf, or Mt Hood through the year, or a series of bugs, landscapes, etc that fit a theme. So the single shot and post was not a good fit for me.
But through this project I have met many new friends I would not have met without this challenge, for that I am most thankful. 😀
I look forward to your posts next year. I won’t be doing a 365 project again. It was fun, but once is enough. I love to travel, although I don’t get to do as much as I’d like, so I think I’ll be doing more postings on the traveling that I do and go backwards to some that I have done. Merry Christmas.
