My bromeliad has been blooming for several months now and I thought I would photograph it again before it withers and dies. I took it outside because we had a wonderful, golden soft light from the sun filtering through all the smoke in the air.
The flower itself isn’t very exciting, but I liked the various pink colors and the spike pink leaves on the outside.

Thanks, Zelmare. It is a pretty weird flower. I’ve had this bromeliad for several years and this is the second time it’s bloomed. It would be even nicer of my cats didn’t eat it’s leaves.

Shhhh dont tell anyone but I like pink flowers too. I mean I would not buy them for myself of course!! But I do seem to like looking at them from afar :-).
