I had big plans to do some experimenting tonight but I didn’t have all the right equipment. I tried to substitute, but it just wasn’t working out. I was running out of time so I decided to photograph some petunias on my front porch. The lighting wasn’t right and the focus was a little too soft.
I will try the experiment again when I have more time and with the right equipment and hopefully will have better luck.

Love the petunias – They are such simple, happy flowers! 🙂
I like them because they grow so well and I have a hard time growing things. 🙂 And it helps that they are a happy flower.
Looking forward to it.
Thanks. I hope I can get it to work for me. 🙂
Boy you set high standards for yourself… I would have been happy with all of those…
Thank you so much, Rob.
What is not to LOVE about each of your photos??? They are beautiful!!
Thank you so much, Shez.
I like when you play around with your photo … my pick of those beauties – I will go purple !!!!
Thanks, Viveka. I emailed you an article about the area I grew up in that tells a little about my scandinavian heritage. It was in the Chicago paper. Let me know if it doesn’t open. I’ll post it here too. http://www.chicagotribune.com/travel/ct-trav-0812-scandinavian-riviera-20120812,0,4298960.story
Maralee … just got it .. I will read it .. so soon I gone through all new posts – thank you so much. Have you ever eaten “lutfisk”???
I have had lutfisk. My dad would fix it at Christmas time. That was the only time we ever had it. I didn’t care for it much. I would have to have it with a lot of melted butter.
Where I come from .. we eat with very strong wholegrain mustard sauce. I love it … *smile
I love anything purple 🙂
Me, too. I have a lot of purple surrounding me. 🙂
