This weekend was the Flashback Cruz classic car show at Drake Park here in Bend.
I’m really not into cars, but I can appreciate all the work that people go through to restore some of these old relics. And by the appearance of most of the cars at the show, everyone took great pride in their work.
Most of the cars were clean inside and out, and buffed to a super sheen.
There were cars from all areas in the West. I didn’t count them, but there had to have been 2-300 cars there. It was hard to photograph the event though because that cars were parked close together and often there was a combination of bright sun and shade on the vehicles.
I tried to focus on some of the smaller details, but still got quite a bit of glare in the photos.

Fantastic series of photos! I love the colors you bring out. Well done!
Thanks, AJ. It was almost color overload at the show. Almost all the cars were beautifully restored.
Great shot of that wheel. Yes, the others are nice as well.
Thanks, Emilio.
I like the fifth shot the best. I like the oldness and texture.
Those old ones are my favorite too. I’m always looking in fields for old vehicles that have been left to rust.
A fantastic set of captures… colours and reflections … wonderfully thought out compositions… complements to the chef…
Thank you, John.
Maralee .. wonderful photos …. love that shot of the old unpolished car – you have really catch some stunning colors.
Thanks, Viveka. I think that one if my favorite. I’m always looking for old, rusted out trucks.
These are lovely. I love the second to last one, it is something different. 🙂
