I took these photos at my office with my little point-and-shoot camera. I wanted to see what I could some up with.

I did some processing in Photoshop to lighten and blur the background. I could do a lot more work on them, but just didn’t have the time or energy tonight.

Tulip 01 – you know I’m a sucker for tight shots. Really, though, all of them are gorgeous.
Thanks, Carissa. How did your project come out?
My group was critiqued last night. My photos seemed well-received, but as far as my grade, I won’t know for a while.
They came out great – second or tulip 1 is my favorite. I have to play around more with my pictures – my little canon compact is has so many programs – learned now that I can can take moving things like water on the night setting, Just came to me the other day, because on night setting the shooter is open longer. It feels a bit sad that my big Canon just lay there with it’s fantastic lenses – but I can’t be bothered with film anymore.
My little point-and-shoot is a Canon PowerShot SD1100 and for a small camera, it has a lot of controls. I usually use my Nikon but the Canon comes in nicely when I don’t have my Nkon with me.
tulips they are just so lovely… I like nr 1 best but they are all beautiful
Thanks, Joanna. The tulips are just about done for the season, I think.
Sooooo pretty! 🙂
