We came across this lioness in the tall grass near a herd of wildebeest. We thought maybe she was stalking the herd but after a little while she just walked away . . . right toward us and back into the grass. What a beautiful lady she is. Maralee

Masai Mara Sunset

A Pride
We found a pride of lions with several adult females and a number of fairly young cubs. They weren't very active at this time of day but it was fun to watch them. Moms were constantly vigilant. Maralee

After watching our first wildebeest crossing, we ventured inland and almost immediately came across this beautiful giraffe. Hitching a ride on the giraffe's neck were a couple of oxpeckers.
