I have to thank a very nice couple who pointed out the Northern Pintail Ducks to me. This duck pair were swimming among some reeds in a small area and would never have seen them if they hadn’t been pointed out to me. The lighting was difficult because they were in an out of shadows and among the reeds. I am very grateful to have seen these ducks.

Superb shots, Maralee! I love these beautiful ducks and didn’t get to see many this year except at a far distance out in the marsh.
Thank you Donna. I’m still somewhat new to the birding arena and generally need my ebird app to identify a bird. I was very fortunate to have someone point this bird out. It was in an area I would not have even imagined I would find any ducks.
