While my family and friends in the midwest and east coast are being hit with extremely cold weather, we are enjoying unseasonably warm weather. Two years ago we were in the midst of the most snow we’d had in 25 years and this year we have no snow and temperatures in the mid-60’s. Yesterday it was 65 degrees and today is supposed to be even warmer.
It does make it easier to go down to the river and watch the birds. There were a lot of people out walking and kayaking. The ducks were enjoying the warm sunshine too.

I’m loving this unseasonably warm weather but I don’t think it can last.
Me too I get outside when it’s warm. It didn’t stay warm long a cold front is swiping in today! So back to big coats! Stay warm! (◡‿◡✿)
By Wednesday I think we will be very very low single digits. I don’t like winter!
I’m not a big fan of the cold so I’m enjoying this little respite. I don’t think it can last though.
A lot of us may have to hunker down and bundle up.
