One of the reasons Scott Lake was chosen for the moonrise was that the moon would be rising between two of the mountains. While the moonrise was set for around 8:30 p.m., because it had to clear the mountains it was actually closer to 9:45 p.m. before it rose behind the mountains. By that time it was pretty dark and difficult to get the moon with any detail in the foreground. But we worked with what we had and here they are:

Awesome shots, especially the last one.
Thanks. It was hard to get a good shot because it was so dark but I’m happy with it.
