Yesterday, while walking along the river, I came across this turtle on the pathway. In the 18 years I have lived here, this if the first turtle I’ve seen. A runner came along and we agreed that the turtle’s life was in danger being on the path (there are a lot of bicyclists on the trail and the turtle blended in with the path) so we relocated the turtle down by the river. I hope it will be okay.

I would have hated for it to get run over by a bicycle.
Cyclists go too fast (not me though).

Poor thing . . . it probably took it all day to make up there from the river and then, bam! In just a few seconds, it’s back down there.
I’m thinking it really, really wanted to trip a runner or spill a biker. You know, just for fun. Oh well; we all face challenges in life. Why should a turtle be any different?
It was big enough that it would have probably knocked over the bicycle or runner. That would have been a sight to see.
