Common Loon – Day 59 – A Year of Wildlife

I am still nursing inflamed ankle tendons which makes it painful to walk so I am relegated to using photos that were taken previously. This photo of the common loon was taken on a visit to my home state of Minnesota a few years ago. The loon is the state bird.
